Pea and Pearl-Barley Soup
Ingredients
- 120 grams of pearl-barley
- 120 grams of peas
- A potato
- A carrot
- An onion
- Butter
- Spices
Recipe Directions
- 1. Pour the barley and peas into a bowl. Boil some water and pour it on the barley and peas. Leave it for a few hours. Once the barley swells, get a pot of water and put it on fire. Pour barley and peas and boil until the barley softens.
- 2. While it boils, put in pieces of potato and all the spices you like.
- 3. Grate the carrot and cut the onion. Heat the frying pan, put butter and vegetables. Fry till they soften. Put in the soup just a few minutes before you finish cooking. Enjoy!
