It's really super simple to make these healthy muffins. This recipe serves perfectly as a base for adding whatever toppings you like. This time I didn't add nutmeg or cinnamon, but chose to add about three quarters of a cup of raisins. I thought it would be ideal to add fresh or frozen berries, bananas, apples, various dried fruits, grated courgettes or carrots. I chose to use semi-skimmed milk.
