Sweet Fruit Soup
Have you ever got bored from soups? And have you ever tried sweet soup? The recipe comes from Lithuania. I ate this soup in my childhood and I am making it for my kids too. This sweet soup contains of kissel, a bit pasta and fruits. Here I provided recipe with apples, kiwi and blueberries, yet you can choose to add more fruits, for example pear will add more sweet taste, also strawberries or raspberries can be used.

    • 3 liters of water
    • handful of dried raisins
    • handful of dried apricots
    • handful of pasta
    • handful of frozen blueberries
    • 2 kiwi

    • 1 pack of vanilla sugar

    Recipe Directions

  1. 1. Start by pouring boiling water over dried fruits and leaving them for about 10 minutes, so they swell.

  5. 3. Cook for about 30 minutes and pour the pasta. Cook for another 15 minutes stirring once in a while.

  10. 6. Put them in a pot, add vanilla sugar.
  11. 7. Pour about 1 liter of cold water into kissel. Stir and pour it into the pot. Cook until it starts boiling again. Remember to stir.

  13. 8. Pour the blueberries. Taste it and decide if it is ready. If you believe that it is not too sweet, add some sugar. Enjoy!
