Latvian Black Bread Dessert
    • 20 teaspoons of black bread crumbs
    • 200 milliliters of fat cream
    • 250 grams of Mascarpone cheese
    • 4 tablespoons of sugar
    • 16 teaspoons of your favorite jam (the more sour, the better)
  1. Start with whisking the cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar until you have a solid mass. Mix Mascarpone cheese with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a separate bowl. Mix the two masses. Prepare black bread crumbs: Grate dry black bread. If it is too fresh, put it in an oven for 20-40 minutes at about 100 C.
  2. Get a container and start layering the dessert: bread crumbs, jam, cream. Repeat for 3 to 4 times. Finish with the cream on top. Sprinkle some crumbs on the top. Enjoy!
