Soft, juicy and lightly sweet – these are the chicken wings braised in a skillet. Although I usually bake chicken wings in the oven, because it is simply the easiest and most convenient way (I admit, sometimes I’m lazy), but after I prepared wings this way in a skillet with a thick honey-soy sauce, I now only make wings like this.
In fact, it won’t take long to prepare these chicken wings, as all you have to do is fry wings on both sides, add the ingredients needed for the sauce and leave to simmer, stirring from time to time. And that’s it. So easy and simple. And when the wings are braised in the sauce, it gradually thickens and caramelizes, so the taste of the sauce is just a fantastic! Well, you’ll understand when you taste it.
To me so prepared wings are the most delicious to serve me with celery stalks and
blue cheese dip. You can also serve wings with rice or another side dish.
Bon appetit!
