Piquant strawberry jam


    • Strawberries: 1 kg
    • Basil leaves: 0,5 cup
    • Chili pepper: 2-3
    • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
    • Sugar: 2 glass (or to taste)

    Recipe Directions:

  1. First of all, take out seeds from chilies. Cut chilies into cubes. Into blender, add 0.5 kg strawberries, basil and chili. Blend a little bit, then add rest strawberries and blend a little bit more.
  2. Then pour mixture into a pot. Add lemon juice and sugar. Cook on low heat, while jam becomes that consistency, you wish. Skim the foam.
  3. Finally, pour jam into clean jars and set aside to rest. Enjoy with fresh bread, pancakes, yogurt or anything else you wish!
